Rain hits the windshield,

cars pass by like blurs,

time seems to slow,

yet my mind still moving,

filled with thoughts,

No matter what I do,

I can't seem to stop,

remembering things about you,

I still don't know,

why you said you had to go,

Day leaves, night arrives,

can't sleep, toss and turn,

driving through the night,

lights and lines,

I guess we live and learn,

from the events of our pasts...
