It's Over

So here we are,
it seems like so long ago,
we became close,
hands together, breathing slows,
bruises on the heart,
from the cold hard blows,
from the memories,
of the past and the pain that comes with it,
of mangled hearts and bleeding knees,

Close your eyes,
it was all you could do,
as sadness took over,
and the beating ensued,
over and over you told her to stop,

but her feelings were strewn,
torn up inside there was nothing she could do,

images never ending,
all feeling went dead,

torn up on the inside,
emotions untamed,

It ended, it was over,
you had had enough,
so much hurt, for such a long time,
no one like you should have a past so rough,
and thats what you thought,
when you said goodbye,
you freed yourself, no longer distraught,

Left the pain behind,
and ran until you couldn't anymore,

theres some one here to fall for,
the end to your pain is here,
together we'll reach the shore,
together we can't drown, with you,
