Sunny Skys

Running through the grass
hands outstretched,
eyes a light brown like,
amber in the sunshine,
close your eyes and feel the warmth,
the peace that comes
with the smell of air and flowers,

At least your at peace,
cut off form the word ,
the world of pain and suffering,
the world that will,
never be the same, nothings left here,
the death and sadness is to much,
for you to handle,

There is noting here, **
the last hope for us has faded,
the smoke is rising , the light is fading,
you are the hope, the light for tomorrow,
but you don't see this, you are oblivious,
open your eyes, to the tomorrow we destroyed,
we can't go on like this, we need,
h e l p . . .

The clouds cover the sun,
the light is gone, replaced by darkness,
why you ask, why now, why here,
you don't have a choice,
drops of water fall form the sky,
tears for a better day,
tears for a tomorrow of joy and peace,

the air is cold, to cold for you to handle,
you shiver, hair blowing in the breeze,
you see the pain,
you see the blood,
you know there has to be change,
see the need to end these wars for,
in the end we are all to blame,
